Our projects

The Bustan Qaraaqa mission is to propagate a grassroots environmental movement in the Palestinian Territories to help combat ongoing humanitarian and environmental crises.

To this end we are continuously developing and refining ideas for ways in which people can get the resources they need from the environment around them, and in addition, ways in which people can take action to limit their environmental impacts, protecting and nurturing the system that sustains them.

Our ideas are tried and tested at Bustan Qaraaqa, as we strive to create a model for full sustainability (Permanent Culture). In addition, we are active in the local community as we seek to share these ideas, strengthening environmental consciousness, supporting community initiatives and seeking environmental justice.
